A Fireside Chat with author Lan Duong

VASC will be holding a book reading discussion hosted by the Vietnamese American Professional Women's Association and Supervisor Cindy Chavez.

Professor Duong is an Associate Professor in the Department of Cinema and Media Studies at USC. Her collection of poetry pays homage to her formative years growing up in San Jose. We will hear from Professor Duong about her journey as a refugee from Viet Nam, and how she navigated her childhood to adulthood to being a writer and scholar.
